Named as Sundak from before this place is used as fighting place of dog (“asu” in Indonesia) and porcupine (“landak” in Indonesia). The fight started when the dog is hungry and lost me twith porcupine on this coast. This porcupine was pursued; enter the cave and eventually was defeated by dog. The owner, who was looking for his dog see his dog was soaked with half abody carrying a porcupine who has he beat. Because curious, he checked into the cave and found the other half of the body and also a spring or water source. To reach this beach you can use bus, minibus, or private transportation. By car you can access this beach in two hours from Jogjakarta. Sundak beach is grouped as new beach so there are no inns around this beach. But, in the west area,many inns in Kukup Beach or Baron Beach you can use to spend the night romance with your spouse. To visit Sundak beach you charge no money, but pay the parking ticket approximately IDR 1.000 or 2000 only.
